Monthly Playing Meetings and Workshops
Our regular meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of the month, September through May, 1:30 to 3:30 PM, at the Friends Meeting House, 1185 Sunset Drive (SW 72nd Street) across the street from Sunset Elementary School (for directions, see below). Bring your favorite music to play from. Summer meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of the month, June, July, and August, at members' homes. Several full-day workshops with conductors are generally held during the year. Conductors include our music director Valerie Horst from New York, and Pat Petersen from North Carolina. Martha Bixler from New York has been conducting special sessions. For a general workshop schedule check here.
